Description:
Facilitate safety training sessions to adults and immigrants for the purpose of employment.
Wage:
- $52,000.00-$78,000 yearly
Hours:
- Full Time Monday-Friday (occasional weekend)
Experience
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience
- Minimum 3 years SCBA experience
Instructor Certifications Required:
- Energy Safety Canada Instructor
- H2S Alive
- Confined Space
- Fall Protection
- CSO
- Canadian Red Cross Instructor
- First Aid
- Phycological First Aid

Task:
- Facilitate safety courses
- Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses
- Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate participants comprehension
- Advise students on program curricula and career decisions
- Operate audio-visual equipment
- Conduct course and program evaluation or review
- Deliver lectures and presentations
- Lead discussion groups and seminars
- Teach safe work procedures and prepare material safety reports
- Supervise instructors
- Administer verbal exams to ESL learners
- Disinfecting training equipment
