First Aid Certificate

Whether you are taking first aid for work or home, at First Aid & Safety Training Services Inc we offer a variety of Canadian Red Cross first aid courses in Edmonton. Certificates meet the CSA Standard Z1210-17 for Basic (Emergency) and Intermediate (Standard) First Aid. 

First Aid Blended learning is a combination of online learning with traditional classroom training.

Step 1:

  • Online component is where you will focus on the theory components of first aid and is completed at home at your own pace, in your free time. Your knowledge of computers, internet speed and previous first aid experience will influence the time it takes to complete. The online portion of our Canadian Red Cross blended first aid courses are now approved by Alberta OH&S as a temporary interim workplace first aid course until such time as the worker can complete the in-class component.

Step 2:

  • In-class session will focus on practicing the skills and apply the theory you learned online. The in-class portion needs to be completed with 6 weeks of the online completion.

Please allow up to 48 hours to receive online log in information.
